DESIGNER PROFILE
Shao Weiyan, a renowned and talented designer from Taiwan, is the founder of CHU-Studio and holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from National Chiao Tung University.
He also serves as the Vice President of the CSID. In 2008, he represented Taiwan in the Tadao Ando Overseas Internship Program in Japan,
earning him the title of "a representative of the new forces in contemporary Asian design."
Beyond his academic pursuits, his design works have garnered numerous international awards in the design industry,
such as the National Architecture Award for Emerging Designers, the IDEA Gold Award from the United States, the TID Award Gold Medal for Interior Design in Taiwan,
the Andrew Martin International Award for Interior Design's Annual Award from the UK, and the Best Award from the Japan International Design Competition.
Shao also has independently curated exhibitions at the Venice Architecture Biennale.
